The mangroves SUP tour is a tour that is done every day, but is everything but an everyday tour! The tour takes place once a day, depending on the tides. The whole tour takes about 3 to 4 hours.

The mangrove forest of Zanzibar

Discover one of the most beautiful, unknown, and highly endangered environments on Zanzibar’s South-East coast, which is only accessible by SUP.

In the mangrove area, you will find a wide variety of animals, such as a different species of fish and crabs, but also bush babies and tropical birds. Our guide will show you the most beautiful areas and explain the different types of mangrove trees during our mangrove SUP tour. the guides that we are working with are local to the mangrove forest and they know every detail there is to know about this magical place. They share their passion for the mangrove with you and will teach you some tricks on the SUP boards as well.

After the SUP Mangrove tour, you can share your experiences with each other while enjoying included drinks and fresh fruit from the island. By exploring Zanzibar through our mangrove SUP tour, you will have a full body workout, probably without even noticing it!

Transport

Transport is included (southeast coast only, which goes from Jambiani up to Michamvi). We pick you up at your hotel and bring you back after the tour. (In case your place is not on the southeast coast, we can organize a pickup with an additional fee).
