Mr. Kahawa Zanzibar

Mr. Kahawa designs unique holidays for dynamic and mindful travellers. There are three different accommodation types in two locations on the South East coast. Cafe & Restaurant

Located in the center of Paje Beach, Mr. Kahawa Café & Restaurant is in an unbeatable location. Sit back underneath the almond tree, gaze at the Indian Ocean, and breathe in the calming vibe of, or what seems to be, your ultimate break.

‘Kahawa’ means coffee in Swahili, and coffee is where it all began. Mr. Kahawa started off as a small coffee shop in 2015. We use pure Arabica coffee from the Utengule farm, made of grade “A” beans. Utengule coffee displays a full body (“coffee-ness”), fine citric acidity, and undertones of blackberry. These characteristics are associated with high-grown coffee from the region and are desirable for gourmet-type coffee.

Not in the mood for coffee? We have a variety of organic, Tanzanian teas and homemade refreshments. Our unique recipes only consist from the freshest ingredients and the creativity and love of our bartenders.

If you combine your kitesurfing with a stay at Mr. Kahawa, you will receive a discount (10%) on the courses and rental. You will receive a code from Mr. Kahawa which you can use on our website when making a booking.
